Naomi’s Journey: From Bet Elazraki to Global Advocacy
I am Naomi Daniel, and I arrived at the Children's Home at the age of 9 with my 2 younger sisters. From that moment on, we were blessed with a big, loving family. Bet Elazraki allowed me to develop my talents— I participated in the choir and became a soloist, and had so many incredible experiences such as volunteering in Rwanda and traveling to the US.
After completing high school, I did a year of National Service in Israel with youth at risk, followed by another year at an international school in England. I went on to study government, diplomacy and strategy, during which I had the privilege to meet President Rivlin and participate in various delegations.
I worked at the Holocaust Museum in Washington, and participated in the Israeli global advocacy program, “Stand With Us”, during which I organized bringing famous bloggers from Europe and South America to experience Israel for the first time. I am now 30 years old, married to Jeremy, with a beautiful daughter, Hilleli.

Bet Elazraki was the launchpad for my dreams. From the distress of my early years to leading a fulfilling life and career, this Home taught me resilience and hope. Now, my mission is to ensure that every child has the same chance to break free and soar.
Danny’s Triumph: From Bet Elazraki to Breaking Cycles
I am Danny Aharanov, 37 years old, married to Meital, with 5 beautiful children. I work as a legal advisor at a venture capital fund. I arrived at Bet Elazraki at the age of 6, and always had big dreams and goals. I wanted nothing more than to break the cycle of distress into which I was born, and I did exactly that! After finishing high school and pre-military school, I enlisted in the IDF and served in Givati. I then went on to study Law, and was on the Dean’s list for three years.
The Children’s Home will always be a huge part of my life—symbolizing my past and my future. My dream is to help more and more children break the cycle of distress and succeed, just like I did. My family and I are currently on an educational mission in New York as my wife and I are working as the directors of programming in a High School.
Mishel Marchasin

Coming to Bet Elazraki was a turning point in my life. Here, I learned that with determination and support, I could achieve anything—from academic excellence to running a half marathon and earning the President’s award in the Airforce. I am forever grateful for the foundation and continuous support Bet Elazraki has given me.
Mishel’s Journey: From Bet Elazraki to Presidential Honors
I am Mishel Marchasin, and I came to Bet Elazraki with my older sister when I was 10. I always wanted to prove to myself that I could accomplish anything, and I did so by excelling in school, and running a half marathon!
After graduating high school I enlisted into the Airforce. This year, on Independence Day, I received the President’s award for outstanding service. I am so grateful for all that Bet Elazraki has provided me with, and all of the support that continue to give me throughout my life.
Itzik Elstein

Bet Elazraki was more than just a Home during my high school years; it was a foundation of love and learning that prepared me to face life’s challenges. They invested deeply in me, enabling me to achieve my dreams—from serving in the IDF to earning my pilot’s license. Now, as I prepare to study engineering, I carry forward the strength and support I gained from those pivotal years.
Itzik’s Ascent: From Bet Elazraki to the Skies
I am Itzik Elstein, 26 years old, and I arrived at Bet Elazraki when I was in 9th grade. The four years I spent there were filled with so much learning, love, and support. The invested so much in me to allow me to deal with my challenges, as well as other challenges that may arise in the future.
After finishing high school, I studied at a military preparatory school before enlisting in the IDF. I served in the Armored Corps and after finishing the army, fulfilled my dream of getting my pilot’s license. Next year, I will be studying engineering.
Mali Sheffer

Arriving at Bet Elazraki at just two years old, it became the foundation of everything I am today. From choir performances to excelling in my studies and pursuing social work, this Home instilled in me the strength to serve and uplift others, just as it did for me.
Mali’s Path: Nurturing Potential at Bet Elazraki
I am Mali, 28 years old, and I arrived to the Children’s Home at the age of 2 with my older sister. I was a social girl, excelled in my studies, and participated in the choir. I did my first year of national service in Israel working with the blind at Keren Or, followed by another year in a Jewish Day School in Chicago.
I received a Bachelor’s degree in social work, and I am currently getting my Master’s. I live with my husband and son in the Shomron.
Ortal Hillel

Growing up at Bet Elazraki, I was equipped with everything needed to forge a strong, independent life. Now, returning here every day to work, I’m filled with joy, knowing I can pass on the same support and values to the next generation. It’s a dream come true to give back to the place that gave me so much.
Ortal’s Full Circle: From Bet Elazraki to Giving Back
I am Ortal Hillel, I am 35 years old, and Bet Elazraki has been my Home since the age of 4. I came with my two brothers, and I was given all of the tools to live a healthy, independent life. I served in the IDF and then received a degree in criminology. I am married to Nir, one of the best circus performers in the country, and we have 2 children.
Today, I work right where I grew up, in Bet Elazraki, of course! I wake up every morning and enter the gates with a smile, knowing that I am able to help give the children all that I was given in this very place. It is truly a dream come true, and I am so grateful for the Children’s Home for allowing me to provide my family with all of the incredible values I was taught here.
